CNN (COMMIE NEWS NETWORK)

From the Liddy Letter

  • CNN lied to the world. They knew the truth but chose to lie. I am not surprised. No one should be.

CNN told the world that American Special Forces sent behind enemy lines to disrupt North Vietnamese Regulars moving men and material along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, through Laos to South Vietnam, were actually on a mission to assassinate fellow Americans.

CNN referred to the alleged American targets of the U.S. Special Forces as "defectors," a telltale sign that CNN was biased and lying. There is no such thing as an American "defector." You cant defect from a free country. A soldier who leaves his post in time of war, with the intent not to return, is a "deserter." One who gives aid and comfort to the enemy, as implied by CNN, is a "traitor." The penalty for either offense is death. But there were no American deserters or traitors in Laos during Operation Tailwind. CNN fabricated that detail.

CNN took advantage of a mentally ill veteran, Robert Van Buskirk, who wrote a book about Operation Tailwind (Tailwind, published in 1983). CNN producer April Oliver got Buskirk to change his story by, he claims, helping him to release some repressed memories of the use of deadly Sarin nerve gas by the U.S. Air Force against Vietnamese women and children and American deserters. It never happened. CNN knew that it never happened, but they went ahead with the story anyway. Should anyone be surprised? No.

A Seo company is based on some techniques which will allow traffic to visit on your site and also provide you a good ranking among the search engines. Hence SEO Company is considered to be the best option for running an online business.

Why should anyone be surprised to learn that there is a profound anti-American bias at Mr. Hanoi Janes network? Isnt CNN the same network that refused to call foreign affairs "foreign," and insisted on using the term "international" affairs, because to label events in Europe, Africa, Asia, and elsewhere abroad, "foreign" was too American? Isnt Ted Turner the same apologist who created the Goodwill Games, and hosted them in Moscow during the Cold War, because he was upset that President Jimmy Carter organized a worldwide boycott of the 1980 Moscow Olympics in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan? Isnt Turner the same billionaire who gave a billion dollars to the United Nations, because he loathed things American so much he couldnt bear to make his gift to the American Red Cross, or the Salvation Army, or any of the several thousand established American-based charities that help the poor and downtrodden throughout the world? Yeah, thats the guy. Mr. Jane Fonda.

CNN made perhaps the biggest blunder in the history of broadcast journalism when it allowed its assemblage of anti-Vietnam War baby boomers to run amok in creating their new program, NewsStand, an ambitious joint venture with the leftwingers at TIME magazine (former home of Soviet apologist Strobe Talbott, since tapped by Bill Clinton to effect anti-American foreign policy). As the first story for their new show, they chose to go back to the most bitter memories of the Vietnam War. But they had nothing to report. What they really wanted to do was rewrite American history.

They are angry that Ronald Reagan called Americas sacrifice in Vietnam a "noble cause." When once the anti-Americans were able to rejoice as the North Vietnamese drove their tanks through the streets of Saigon, the Jane Fondas, Oliver Stones, and Bill Clintons of the world were forced to bear witness to the Communist slaughter of millions in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia in the wake of the American pullout. From 1974 to 1980, the world saw that the horror and terror following Communist expansion in Asia was much like the slaughter and repression visited upon Eastern Europe after Franklin D. Roosevelt abandoned it to the Communists at Yalta in 1945. The lessons were so clear, the American people elected Ronald Reagan to power to confront the Communist threat. The British elected Margaret Thatcher, the "Iron Lady," to turn the tide. Reagan and Thatcher won the Cold War, to the bitter disappointment of the Fifth Columnists who reveled in an American defeat.

Peter Arnett, mouthpiece for Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War, first made a reputation as an anti-American propagandist during the conflict in Southeast Asia. He arrived in Vietnam, from his native New Zealand, determined to do what he could to help the Communists win the war. He won a Pulitzer Prize for an orgy of NVA/Viet Cong propaganda that gained him the admiration of all the anti-American/anti-military baby boomers who hated Lyndon Johnson, General Westmoreland, and the West in general, but loved the naive romanticism of a Communist/peasant struggle against the mighty USA.

Arnett later read an Iraqi script about the American air attack on a command and control center in Iraq, which the Iraqis had crudely disguised as a baby formula factory after the attack by sending out actors in white jumpsuits with "baby milk" printed in English on them. With such credentials, Arnett was a perfect choice to present CNNs anti-American, revisionist non-history.

CNN President Rick Kaplan came to the leftwing network by way of the ClintonGore communications team. He was known previously as the Clin-tonite who chastised the net-works reporters and writers for using the word "scandal" in their coverage of Clintons violations of morality and the law. He scolded them that they didnt know anything about Clintons transgressions, because everything was "alleged." So using the word "scandal" in reporting on allegations against the president was wrong and unfair. Kaplan was another ideal candidate to assist CNN in the defamation.

The little-known April Oliver is a truly bad actor. She allegedly hid evidence that the story could not possibly be true, because she badly wanted to change the history of the Vietnam War to make the Americans seem like the war criminals. She had heard from Eugene McCarley, in charge of Operation Tailwind, who told CNN, in no uncertain terms, that none of his troops had used nerve gas, nor did any of them have any knowledge of the use of Sarin. She also heard from the Air Force pilots who deployed the tear gas, that it was, in fact, tear gas; as well as from the medic on the ground during the operation, Mike Rose, who also confirmed that it was tear gas. Yet she and Arnett went ahead with their lies about the use of nerve gas, not because they were sloppy journalists, but because their agenda was to miswrite history, so that it would record Americans as war criminals.

CNN failed. They got caught. They have retracted the nerve-gas story and its defamation, and hope no one will look anew at any of the other liberal propaganda they spew out 24 hours a day. CNN has fired a few people, and may fire a few more, but if their liberal bias continues, dont be too surprised.
